With so many farmers getting involved independent experts have calculated Operation Bumblebee will make a significant step towards the target required to create ‘a real and sustainable increase in bumblebee numbers’ across UK arable farms.

Furthermore, to provide farmer training, Syngenta is establishing new Centres of Environmental Excellence and training facilities at Whittlesford in Cambridgeshire; Upton, Oxfordshire; Eddlestone, Yorkshire; Spilsby, Lincs and Perth in Scotland.

The Buzzing Areas map will be regularly updated with areas of new habitat established by Operation Bumblebee.
